Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Your new challenges which will inspire you:

 

  • Performing literature research, obtaining relevant information and documents and communicating within the team to support scientific requests
  • Planning experiments, analyzing data and preparing reports, including proposals for follow-up studies
  • Elaborating and integrating in vitro models to advance multiple early research projects
  • Working closely with team members within the lab and providing support as well as training
  • Supporting communication and exchange in internal and external collaborations

 


Your profile that will convince us:

 

  • Master or PhD in natural sciences (preferably biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy or similar)
  • Strong expertise in vitro models and analysis using functional assays
  • Knowledge of immunofluorescence microscopy is a plus and experiences in standard protein as well as RNA analysis methods
  • Proficient knowledge of MS-Office, experience with data analysis software
  • Familiar with protein purification methods
  • Fluency in English (oral and written), german is a plus
  • Team player with a pro-active, positive attitude and solution-oriented personality
  • Agile personality with high integrity

Additional information:
 

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 4.270,14. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed.
