Data Privacy information about recruiting process

We would like to make you aware of the following data privacy related information:

1. General 
This electronic job application site is run, also for other companies belonging to the Octapharma group, by Octapharma AG as the operator. As a rule, the responsible entity is the Octapharma group company specified in the respective job posting. 
 
Any personal data including all data in attachments you enter (collectively referred to hereinafter as "data") is stored and used by Octapharma AG respectively the responsible Octapharma group company for the purpose of your application. Special types of personal data (information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union membership, health or sexual orientation) will not be collected if this is not required by law in the country in which you are applying for a position. We will only collect and process such data which are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose for which they are collected.  
 
You are offered the following options regarding the use of your general data (candidate profile) beyond a specific position:  
 
I. Your data will be used only to fill the positions for which you have applied. Your data will not be forwarded within the Octapharma group.

II. Your data will be forwarded to fill open positions in group companies within your country of residence.

 III. Your data will be forwarded to fill open positions within the Octapharma group worldwide.
 
2. Data storage  
The data will be securely stored in a data base of a third party provider, [information about provider] located in the European Union. 
 
3. Data access  
The relevant persons required to fill open positions within the Octapharma group have access to your stored data, depending on the option chosen by you (I-III above).  
To ensure proper operation, selected employees of Octapharma AG have access to the data. In addition, selected employees of subcontractors of Octapharma AG might have access to the data in order to fulfill their administrative and support duties (depending on the option (I-III) chosen by you). These employees are not permitted to use the data for any other purposes and are under a strict obligation to maintain secrecy. An appropriate level of data protection is furthermore ensured.  
Your data is protected against unauthorized access through encrypted transmission and storage, a role and authorization concept, a data backup concept and physical security measures for the servers.  
 
4. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is truthful, correct, non-ambiguous and up-to-date. You can maintain your own account to secure accuracy of all your data.  
 
5. Data query, maintenance and deletion; right of objection  
You can view your personal data at any time in this job application site. In addition, you have the right to have any personal data blocked or deleted, to object to the processing of your data, the right to have your data transferred to a third party and to have any incorrect data corrected. If you do not have your data deleted it will remain stored for a period of time necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or for which they are further processed. 

 This period is valid for each application. The data will be erased when the purposes have been served.

7. Data administration 
Due to the nature of the internet and of computer systems, Octapharma does not accept any liability for the availability of the Octapharma website, the correctness and accuracy of the information contained therein, or for any third-party intellectual property rights or copyrights.  
 
8. Exclusion of liability  
Liability on the part of Octapharma shall be excluded except where mandatory liability applies, such as in cases of intent, gross negligence, loss of life, bodily harm or injury to health.  
 
9. Information about cookies
