What will you be doing as Group Automation Engineer?
As a Group Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of automation across the organization. This position can be based at one of our production sites in Stockholm, Lingolsheim, Vienna or Springe. You’ll work closely with group functions and local automation teams to drive efficiency, capacity, and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities include:
- Defining and implementing automation strategies aligned with business goals
- Collaborating across group and site teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
- Leading the development of the Group Automation Library and qualification framework
- Supporting local sites in adopting standards and contributing to detailed design work
- Monitoring trends and evaluating new technologies in automation
- Promoting collaboration and best practice sharing across automation teams
- Acting as an internal expert and advisor within your field
- Gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, international pharmaceutical environment
Who are you?
- Relevant academic degree in automation, engineering, or a related field
- More than 10 years of experience in the automation field
- Proven expertise in strategic development and standardization of automation solutions
- Deep knowledge of automation technologies and industry best practices
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Awareness of trends and emerging technologies in automation

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 4.157,14. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed.
