Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma.

This position can be located and applied from all Octapharma filling sites : Lingolsheim, Stockholm, Springe, or Vienna.
 

What will you be doing as Group Senior Expert Fill & Finish ? 

• Subject Matter Expert for aseptic processes including aseptic filling/stoppering, capping, RABS/isolator technology, material preparation (cleaning and sterilization), primary packaging material and single use systems

• Participate as Subject Matter Expert in strategic corporate initiatives to support business objectives

• Provide expertise to support routine production, new equipment/technologies implementation and lifecycle management

• Define and implement corporate SOPs and guidelines 

• Develop and maintain standardization of processes and equipment between the sites

• Implement decisions and strategies defined by our Board

• Assess/review/approve corporate documents 

• Represent Octapharma in front of external organizations and suppliers

• Maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards

• Make benchmarking with pharmaceutical companies and suppliers concerning current practices and upcoming technologies and guidelines

Who you are ?

• Technical background with a complete University degree in Biotechnology / Process / Chemical Engineering or similar
• At least 10 years of work experience in pharmaceutical environment in the field of sterile products manufacturing 
• Experience with liquid injectable dosage forms in Prefilled Syringes (PFS) and Ready To Use (RTU) components
• Experience in management of pharmaceutical production department for more than 5 years would be a plus
• Sound knowledge of GMP applied to sterile drug products including validation practices (US, EU, WHO organizations)
• Analytical and goal-oriented mindset
• Team oriented
• Willingness to travel
• Very good communication skills in English 
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills through international organizations and different cultures

The Corporate Fill & Finish Department :

• Main mission : as SME supporting routine production and being strong actor in key projects within pharmaceutical production area, visual inspection and packaging

• CFF is a team of 8 employees (part of MSAT group)

• Working closely with manufacturing sites and other corporate functions (MSAT, corp engineering, corp purchasing, corp Sterility assurance, corporate operational excellence, R&D) 

• Line manager : the Group Director Fill & Finish
