Your main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Ensure accurate and compliant monthly payroll processing for employees in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for payroll, social security, pension funds, taxation and payroll-related legislation.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, employment changes and offboarding documentation.
  • Liaise with social security authorities, insurance providers and external stakeholders regarding registrations, declarations and payroll matters.
  • Maintain personnel records and electronic personnel files, ensuring data quality and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate payroll payments, year-end activities, audits and statutory reporting.
  • Support HR budgeting, reporting and government statistics.
  • Advise employees and managers on payroll-related questions, policies and procedures.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes, documentation and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and external partners to ensure efficient service delivery.

 

 

 

Your expertise and ideal skill set

 

  • Commercial education or equivalent qualification; further education in Payroll, HR or Social Insurance is an advantage.
  • Several years of professional payroll experience, ideally in an international environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss payroll, social security, pension funds and employment legislation.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
  • Fluent German and good English skills; additional languages are an asset.
