We are seeking

A dynamic and highly motivated leader in our corporate IT team as the Group Lead Data & AI at Octapharma group. This pivotal role centers around driving the successful implementation of our new data and AI platform. You will be at the forefront, leading an international team of skilled business and IT professionals towards delivering high-impact data solutions.
 

Your main responsibilities and opportunities

  • Leading cross-functional collaboration, effectively liaising with various departments, stakeholders, partners, and external vendors.
  • Strategically shaping the future of our data architecture, establishing a robust technical framework, and setting the direction for data governance.
  • Translating complex business needs into clear technical strategies, including aspects like data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, data lakes, machine learning, and data warehouses.
  • Ensuring the delivery of solutions that are not only high-performing but also secure, scalable, maintainable, reusable, and reliable.

 

Your Profile

  • Strong leadership skills, both in the line and matrix
  • Proven expertise in large-scale technical projects involving cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, data models, and technology management.
  • A wide spectrum of technical know-how with deep expertise in areas such as Data Platforms, Cloud Solutions, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Bricks, analytics tools like PowerBI, Qlik, Data Science, Machine Learning with Azure ML, ML Server, Python, Artificial Intelligence, generative AI.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Previous 5+ years’ leadership experience in data and AI 
  • You bring a drive for excellence and a positive “can do” approach.
