Your main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Ownership and accountability of a group of Octapharma Immunotherapy products
  • Development and execution of global marketing plans and strategies and converting clinical data into clear marketing messages
  • Ensure alignment of global marketing plans and strategies with the national affiliates
  • Planning and execution of global and regional marketing activities
  • Guide the development and production of global marketing materials (i.e. brochures, scientific documentation, slide sets) also for digital media
  • Organization of national and international congresses and meetings, incl. symposia
  • KOL management - actively participate in international opinion leader communication and development
  • You collect customer insights and derive activities to adequately address identified unmet needs and support life cycle management projects
  • You contribute to clinical life science management projects and to new product development projects.
  • Contribution to internal and external specialist training
  • Deep understanding of the worldwide market information and competitor intelligence
  • Act professionally in a diverse international framework

 

 

Your expertise and ideal skill set

 

  • You have a medical science / life science background (university degree).
  • Previous 3-4 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, thereof ideally 1 year in an international role. Existing experience in specialty care, orphan drugs or knowledge of different therapeutic areas, and/or disease fields. Expertise in Immunology or Neurology is advantageous.
  • You have a drive for excellence and a positive “can do” approach.
  • You are used to working diligently with scientific information and clinical data. You are comfortable dealing directly with KOLs, physicians and clinical investigators.
  • You are able to translate scientific knowledge into clear marketing messages and develop pragmatic solutions to enable successful market communication.
  • You are a strong team player in global teams and are able to independently execute marketing related projects.
  • You are efficient and know how to prioritize your work.
  • You have excellent communication, presentation and motivation skills and are PC literate.
  • You bring a passion and desire to play a key role in driving the Octapharma Immunotherapy products to success.
  • You are open-minded, creative, self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • You are familiar with working with multiple cultures and nationalities.
  • You are willing to travel up to 25%.
  • You have very good English and German language skills (additional languages are beneficial).

 

 

Your department - where you make an impact 

 

  • The International Business Unit department (IBU) is divided into three Business Units: IBU Immunotherapy, IBU Haematology and IBU Critical Care plus an IBU Project Management team
  • The overall responsibility of the IBU department is to ensure long-term strategic development by enabling intelligent business decisions
  • We specialize in global medical marketing, strategic and business development, as well as pipeline project management
  • The department consists of 25 team members, and you will support all three business units while working in close collaboration with our affiliates and Corporate Communications.
  • This position is a temporary role to cover a maternity leave.
