Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Since our company continues to grow, we are looking for a maternity leave replacement (until May 2025)


Your new challenges which will inspire you:


  • Develop and execute short-to mid-term production plan of the entire product portfolio for all manufacturing sites 
  • Evaluate impact of production changes on global demand and adapt production plan to optimize supply of customer demand  
  • Prepare a detailed supply review plan for S&OP and present supply overview with best possible recommendations from supply side 
  • Responsible for stocks management: release of batches, follow up restricted and slow-moving stocks
  • Perform allocation of finished product to customer orders considering regulatory and customer requirements, as well as quality constraints 
  • Perform supply replenishment based on defined safety stocks, cycle stocks and forecast
  • Communicate any changes connected to supply of customer orders to Corporate and Local Customer Service
  • Define and lead continuous process improvements (processes, reports, systems, tools and projects)


Your profile that will convince us: 


  • Academic education in Supply Chain and Logistics, Engineering or Business Informatics/alternatively two or more years of working experience in supply chain area or business analytics
  • Computer skills: SAP APO (VMI), SAP ERP, advanced MS Excel knowledge and BI tool
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken) 
  • Excellent communication, coordination and problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical and rational decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work flexible hours when required 
  • High level of attention to details and accuracy of information

Additional information:

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 2.830,38. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed.
