We are seeking

A motivated professional to join our Corporate Communications team in Lachen, Switzerland, as a Congress & Event Specialist (100%). Reporting to the Head Global Congress Management, you will support the organisation and execution of international congresses, events and related projects around the world to help raise awareness of Octapharma’s products and brand.


Your main responsibilities and opportunities

  • Coordinate physical and virtual international congresses and events, including administration, logistics, vendor management, accommodation, and catering
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers and congress or event participants
  • Attend congresses to ensure successful execution of events for all stakeholders
  • Facilitate the effective and consistent communication of Octapharma’s brand and messaging at all events, and ensure that we remain compliant with all applicable regulation and guidelines


Your Profile

  • You are well organised with at least three years’ experience in administrative support of junior project management roles and a proven ability to operate independently
  • The role requires strong personal communication skills, attention to detail, significant travel, the ability to manage ambiguity a drive for excellence and a positive “can do” approach.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and additional languages would be advantageous.
